Lesson 1
What Is a Survey?
A survey is when you:
- Ask the same question to many people
- Each person gives their one answer — that is their vote
- You record every answer
- You count how many said each thing
Today our answers are only YES or NO — just two choices!

Lesson 1
Your Signal Cards
You have two cards. Use them to show your answer!
YES
Hold up the green card!
It is always okay to keep your card down. Your answer is always your choice.

How We Record Answers
