Lesson 2: Two Attributes at Once

Tip: What if something is big AND red? Sort objects using two attributes at the same time. Take time to let your child explore and share their thoughts.

Lesson 3: Making a Sorting Grid

Tip: Create a grid with one attribute on each side. Place objects in the right square. See all combinations! Take time to let your child explore and share their thoughts.

Lesson 4: Empty Squares and Surprises

Tip: Some grid squares might be empty. That is data too! What does an empty square tell us? Take time to let your child explore and share their thoughts.
