Lesson 2: The Data Shows...

Tip: Practice the most important sentence in data science: 'The data shows that...' Use it for everything! Take time to let your child explore and share their thoughts.

Lesson 3: Fact vs. Opinion

Tip: The data shows facts. 'Pizza is the best' is YOUR opinion. Learn to tell the difference. Take time to let your child explore and share their thoughts.

Try asking: "What do you think about distinguishing between data facts and personal opinions?"

Lesson 4: Show and Tell

Tip: Present a graph to your family using the sentence frame: 'I asked ___, the data shows ___, I learned ___.'' Take time to let your child explore and share their thoughts.
