Lesson 2: The Power of Advertising

Tip: Discover how ads shape what we think we need. Learn to spot advertising tricks like urgency, celebrity endorsement, and FOMO. Take time to discuss each topic and let your child share their thoughts before providing answers.
Try asking: "What do you think about ads are everywhere: tv, social media, billboards, even schools?"

Lesson 3: Opportunity Cost

Tip: Every choice has a cost. Learn what you give up every time you spend money, and how to make better decisions. Take time to discuss each topic and let your child share their thoughts before providing answers.
Try asking: "What do you think about what is opportunity cost: what you give up when you choose?"

Lesson 4: Israf and Qasad: Balance in Spending

Tip: Explore the Islamic concepts of Israf (wastefulness) and Qasad (moderation). Learn what Quran 7:31 teaches about balance. Take time to discuss each topic and let your child share their thoughts before providing answers.
