1 5 Questions About Your Pictograph Easy Activity
Write 5 questions that can be answered by looking at your pictograph. Then answer each one.
2 Find the Finding Easy Discussion
Look at a pictograph and write 3 'We found out that...' sentences. Share them with someone.
3 How Many More? Medium Activity
Look at your data. For each pair of groups, figure out how many MORE one has than the other. Write it down.
4 Teach a Family Member Medium Group Activity
Present your pictograph to someone at home. Explain: what you asked, how many people you asked, and what you found out.
5 Data Reporter Medium Creative
Pretend you are a TV reporter. Write a 'news report' about your data findings. Read it aloud dramatically!
6 Two Findings, One Graph Challenge Critical Thinking
Look at your pictograph and find TWO different things the data tells you. Sometimes the same data answers more than one question!
