1 Block Bar Graph Easy Activity
Use LEGO or blocks to build a bar graph of favorite fruits: apple, banana, orange. Ask 10 people first!
2 Paper Strip Graph Easy Activity
Cut paper strips to make bars. Glue them on paper. One strip = one count. Add a title and labels.
3 Color Count Graph Medium Activity
Count items by color in your crayon box. Build a bar graph. Which color has the most?
4 Snack Graph Medium Activity
Survey 10 people about their favorite snack (3 choices). Build a bar graph with title, labels, and numbers.
5 Two Graphs Medium Creative
Make the SAME data into both a pictograph and a bar graph. Which do you like better? Why?
6 Missing Labels Challenge Critical Thinking
Look at a bar graph with NO labels. Can you figure out what it shows? Why are labels so important?
