Write 10 sentences about data. Sort them into FACT and OPINION. How can you tell the difference?
3 Mini Presentation Medium Activity
Present a graph to a family member. Use: 'I asked ___, I found out ___, the data shows ___.
4 News Reporter Medium Creative
Pretend you are a news anchor. Read your data findings in your best news voice. Record it if you can!
5 Two Stories, One Graph Medium Critical Thinking
Look at one bar graph. Write two different 'The data shows...' sentences. The same graph can tell multiple things!
6 Opinion Detector Challenge Discussion
Read a newspaper or website article that uses data. Can you spot where facts end and opinions begin?
