1 Project Proposal Easy Writing

Write a one-paragraph proposal for your data project: What is your question? Why do you care about it? Who will you ask? How will you collect data?

2 Data Collection Checklist Easy Activity

Create a checklist for your data collection day: question written, materials ready, recording sheet prepared, sample planned, backup plan in case of problems.

3 Graph Draft Medium Activity

Create a first draft of your graph. Show it to a partner and ask: Can you tell what this is about? What could be clearer? Revise based on feedback.

4 Practice Presentation Medium Group Activity

Present your data story to a partner or small group. Get feedback on: Was the question clear? Was the graph readable? Was the conclusion supported by evidence?

5 Reflection Essay Medium Writing

Write a one-page reflection on your data science journey: What was the most surprising thing you learned? What was hardest? What would you investigate next?

6 Data Science in the Real World Challenge Research

Find an example of data science being used in the real world (weather forecasting, sports statistics, health research). Write about: What data do they collect? How do they use it? How does it help people?
