Difficulty levels: Easy Medium Challenge
1 Spreadsheet Navigation Easy Activity
Open Google Sheets. Navigate to these cells and type something in each: A1, C5, F10, B20. Change the font of Row 1 to bold. Adjust column widths.
2 Data Entry Practice Easy Activity
Enter this data into a spreadsheet: 5 students with Name, Age, Favorite Color, and Number of Siblings. Format it neatly with bold headers.
3 Formula Challenge Medium Activity
Enter 10 numbers in column A. In column B, write formulas for: SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, and MIN. Verify each answer by calculating by hand.
4 Chart Creator Medium Activity
Enter survey data into a spreadsheet (at least 4 categories and 15+ responses). Create three charts: bar chart, pie chart, and a different style. Which communicates best?
5 Weekly Tracker Medium Activity
Create a spreadsheet tracking something for 7 days (steps, reading minutes, weather, or screen time). Use formulas to calculate the weekly total, average, max, and min. Create a line chart.
6 Full Data Analysis Challenge Critical Thinking
Enter a real dataset into a spreadsheet (at least 20 rows). Calculate mean, max, min. Create 2 charts. Write 3 'the data shows...' conclusions. Present your findings to someone.
