Print this page. Use it during the session. Keep it in your folder.

🟢 1. Today's letter — ث (tha)

This letter says "th" like in think. It looks like a little boat with three dots on top! 🛶

Trace each tha. Start with the boat shape, then add three dots above:

ث . . . . ث . . . . ث . . . . ث . . . . ث

Now try writing one by yourself:

Big tha! Don't forget the three dots:

🟡 2. Find the tha

Circle every word that has the letter ث (tha) in it:

ثَلاثة     مْنيح     ثَوب     تَمام     ثَعلَب

Hint: look for the three dots on top!

🟠 3. I can read these words

Read these three words out loud. Point to each one as you say it:

Picture Arabic Say it
😊
مْنيح
m-nih
👍
تَمام
ta-mam
😴
تَعبان
ta'-ban

After you read them, ask a grown-up: "How are YOU today?" Then listen to their answer.

🟣 4. Match the feeling to the face

Draw a line from each Arabic word to the face that matches.

Feeling Face
مْنيح
─ → 😴 tired
تَمام
─ → 😊 good
تَعبان
─ → 👍 fine, all good

🔵 5. Draw how you feel today

Draw your own face showing how you feel right now. Then write the Arabic word for that feeling underneath.

🌟 6. Mini-challenge (optional stretch)

Ask three people in your family "كيفَك؟" (to a boy) or "كيفِك؟" (to a girl). Write down what they said!

Person I asked Boy or girl? What they answered
_____________ m / f _________________
_____________ m / f _________________
_____________ m / f _________________

Bonus: did anyone say

الحَمدُ لله
(al-hamdu lillah — "all is well, thanks")? Almost every Arab grown-up says this! It's how we answer "how are you" — even when we feel just okay.

📝 Tonight's home practice (1 minute)

Tonight, walk up to someone in your family and ask them in Arabic how they are. Then YOU answer too when they ask you back.

I asked... They answered I answered
كيفَك؟ / كيفِك؟
