Workbook — Session 47: I Can Write a Story Too

Name: _________________________________

Date: _________________________________

Print this page. Use it during the session. Keep it in your folder.

🟢 1. Warm-up your writing hand — full alphabet review

You've learned all 28 letters! Pick three favorites and write each one three times. Big and proud.

ا ب ت ث ج ح خ د ذ ر ز س ش ص ض ط ظ ع غ ف ق ك ل م ن ه و ي

My three favorite letters:

Letter 1 Letter 2 Letter 3

Now write the first letter of your main character's name:

🟡 2. Find the story words

Circle every word below that is a story-building word (a piece you need to write a story):

البِداية     تُفّاحة     الوَسَط     سَيّارة     النِّهاية     بَطَل     قِصَّتي

Hint: five of them belong to a story. Two are just random words!

🟠 3. I can read these words

Read these three words out loud. Point to each one as you say it:

Meaning Arabic Say it
I write
أَكتُب
ak-tub
My story
قِصَّتي
qis-sa-ti
Main character
بَطَل / بَطَلة
ba-tal / ba-ta-leh

Now say the whole sentence:

أَكتُب قِصَّتيI write my story.

🟣 4. Sort the story pieces

Every story has three parts. Draw a line from each Arabic word to the right part of the story.

Arabic What it means
البِداية
─ → 🏁 The end — how things finish
الوَسَط
─ → 🌱 The beginning — where we meet the character
النِّهاية
─ → 🎢 The middle — when something happens

🔵 5. Draw your story

Your mini-story has three pages. Draw one picture for each part. Write one Arabic word under each box.

┌──────────────┐ ┌──────────────┐ ┌──────────────┐
│ │ │ │ │ │
│ │ │ │ │ │
│ │ │ │ │ │
│ │ │ │ │ │
│ │ │ │ │ │
│ │ │ │ │ │
│ │ │ │ │ │
│ │ │ │ │ │
└──────────────┘ └──────────────┘ └──────────────┘
   البِداية الوَسَط النِّهاية

My main character's name: ________________

**بَطَل / بَطَلة** قِصَّتي:
________________

🌟 6. Mini-challenge (optional stretch)

Write one full Arabic sentence about your story. Use words you already know. It can be tiny — that's okay!

Some sentence starters you can borrow:

أَكتُب قِصّة عَن...    (I write a story about...)

البَطَل اسمُه...    (The hero's name is...)

في النِّهاية...    (In the end...)

My sentence:

📝 Tonight's home practice (2 minutes)

Read your mini-story out loud to one person in your family. Then fill this in:

I read my story to... Their favorite part was... One Arabic word they learned from me
