🟢 1. Today's letter — ق (qaf)

The ق has a deep sound — way back in your throat. Like a "k" but deeper. Try it: qaf, qaf, qaf.

Trace each qaf. Notice the two dots on top and the round bowl that dips below the line.

Now try writing one by yourself:

Circle every word that has the letter ق (qaf) in it:

Hint: four of them have a qaf. Two don't.

Read these three words out loud. Point to each one as you say it:

After you read them, ask a grown-up to be the shopkeeper. You point at something in the room and ask:

🟣 4. Sort it: غالي or رَخيص?

In the souk, some things cost a lot (غالي — expensive) and some things cost a little (رَخيص — cheap). Draw a line from each item to where it belongs.

Some answers depend on where you live! Talk it out.

🌟 6. Mini-challenge (optional stretch)

Play souk with a grown-up. They pick something in your kitchen — a tomato, an apple, a piece of bread. You ask:

They tell you a number of قِرش. You decide: is it غالي or رَخيص? Then say it!

Bonus: in a real Levantine souk, people bargain. Try saying
