Name: _________________________________

Print this page. Use it during the session. Keep it in your folder.

🟢 1. Today's letter — ن (nun)

Trace each nun. Start with the curve like a little bowl. Then pop a dot on top.

ن . . . . ن . . . . ن . . . . ن . . . . ن

Now try writing one by yourself:

Big nun! Make it huge — don't forget the dot:

🟡 2. Find the nun

Circle every word that has the letter ن (nun) in it:

عِندي     كِتاب     حَيَوان     أَخ     أنا     بَيت

Hint: the word for "I have" starts with one!

🟠 3. I can read these sentences

Read these out loud. Point to each word as you say it:

Picture Arabic Say it
📚
عِندي كِتاب
indi ki-tab
🐱
عِندي حَيَوان
indi ha-ya-wan
👦
عِندي أَخ
indi akh

After you read them, tell someone in the room one thing you really do have. Use Arabic!

🟣 4. Have it or don't have it?

Look at each picture. Do YOU have one? Circle عِندي (I have) or ما عِندي (I don't have).

What is it? I have it?

One thing I have, in Arabic: عِندي ________________

🌟 6. Mini-challenge (optional stretch)

Ask someone in your house: "إِلَك أَخ؟" (Do you have a brother?) — use إِلِك if you're asking a girl.

Write down what they said:

I asked... They said...
إِلَك / إِلِك _____________ ؟
عِندي / ما عِندي

Try asking about three different things: a brother, a sister, a pet. In Arabic, عِندي means "with me" — that's how Arabic says "I have." There's no separate word for "have." Cool, right?

📝 Tonight's home practice (1 minute)

Tell one person in your family TWO things you have and ONE thing you don't have. In Arabic!

عِندي...
عِندي...
ما عِندي...
_____________ _____________ _____________
